TASKS WITH IMPACT
- Ownership of the professional management and continuous development of payroll processes in Germany, as well as supporting Austria and Switzerland
- Close collaboration with our external payroll provider and ensuring high-quality, on-time payroll processing
- Management, monitoring, and continuous improvement of payroll-related processes, controls, and interfaces
- Analysis, assessment, and resolution of complex payroll-related issues, as well as escalation management toward internal and external stakeholders
- Contribution to the ongoing payroll transformation, including stabilizing and optimizing processes in the target operating model
- Ownership of the quality and consistency of payroll-relevant master and transactional data
- Management of wage tax, social security, and pension insurance audits in close collaboration with the payroll provider and the internal Tax, Finance, and HR teams
- Support for internal and external audits, as well as implementation of compliance and control requirements
- Participation in digitalization, automation, and optimization initiatives within the payroll and HR environment
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders from HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and IT
YOUR SKILLS

Alongside these competencies, we’re looking for the following skills:
- Several years of professional experience in payroll, ideally within an international corporate environment
- Strong expertise in German wage tax, social security, and payroll matters; knowledge of Austria and/or Switzerland is an advantage
- Experience working with and managing external payroll service providers
- Understanding of payroll-related processes, controls, and compliance and audit requirements
- Experience in transformation, optimization, or digitalization projects is desirable
- Confident handling of SAP HCM and/or SAP SuccessFactors; additional HR or payroll system knowledge
- Very good German and good English language skills
