TASKS WITH IMPACT
- Manage and continuously develop capital markets reporting, including an integrated financial and equity story for the DOUGLAS Group, in close collaboration with Group Accounting and Investor Relations
- Analyze and comment on the monthly, quarterly and annual business and financial performance of the DOUGLAS Group and its international subsidiaries, with a focus on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Manage and analyze recurring forecasts, annual budgets and mid-term plans, including variance analyses versus prior year, budget and latest estimate, and translate results into management-relevant insights
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting activities with Group Accounting and local Finance teams, ensuring timely, complete and consistent reporting in line with Group standards
- Prepare reports, presentations and decision-making materials on financial and non-financial capital market and steering KPIs, highlighting key performance drivers, risks, opportunities and implications for guidance
- Act as a commercial sparring partner for Group Controlling teams, including Functional Controlling, and advise the Management Board on financial performance
- Drive the continuous development and governance of Group-wide planning, forecasting, reporting and KPI processes to enhance reporting quality, financial transparency and effective business steering
- Contribute to operational and Group-wide Finance projects, including post-merger integration and the harmonization of financial reporting, controlling standards, systems and processes
YOUR SKILLS
- Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification, combined with sound knowledge of Controlling and Finance
- Several years of relevant professional experience in Controlling, an auditing firm or a comparable Finance environment, ideally within Retail or FMCG
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Confident use of BI and multidimensional reporting tools, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate dashboards and decision-making materials
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial and business interdependencies
- Proactive and independent working style, with the ability to actively contribute to and shape change in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence in collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and management levels
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
