Job Description
Manager Conditions & Data Management (f/m/x)
Manager Conditions & Data Management (f/m/x)
Job Category:  Purchasing, Pricing & Assortment
Job Location (Short):  Düsseldorf, Germany
Career Level:  Experienced Professional
Work Setup:  Hybrid

Within Assortment & Purchasing, you take ownership of the strategic data foundation for purchasing and marketing conditions across multiple countries. As the central interface between Category Management, Accounting, IT and our country organisations, you ensure that the Condition Management Tool (SAP Retail) runs reliably and that data flows consistently across systems.

How do you turn complex condition-management processes into clear, scalable structures while bringing all relevant stakeholders along? A team that owns our data foundation across our countries is looking forward to taking the next steps toward future-ready data management together with you.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

  • You own the OneEurope conditions in CMT, including automated country inheritance, and drive Data Sharing forward — for example by implementing contractually agreed components in the DOUGLAS Supplier Portal.
  • You ensure a smooth bonus process by providing landing tables for Accounting and conduct annual system queries for user management, including audit-proof documentation and coordination with IT.
  • You are responsible for maintaining and further developing the Condition Management Tool (SAP Retail) — from creation and adjustments through to the settlement of purchasing and marketing conditions.
  • You work closely with the countries and with Category Management to ensure aligned processes, consistent data handling, and that only relevant purchasing conditions are carried over into the following year.
  • As the international point of contact, you are the first port of call for all CMT-related questions and ensure consistent standards across country borders.
  • You share knowledge through structured onboarding for new colleagues on CMT functionalities and identify opportunities to further develop CMT processes and future-ready data management.

YOUR SKILLS

We follow a competency-based and fair recruiting approach. That is why we look beyond your previous experience and want to understand how you make an impact, use change as an opportunity and work successfully in a team.
In addition to these competencies, we are particularly interested in the following skills:

  • You bring strong knowledge of SAP Retail as well as a technical understanding of purchasing processes.
  • Project management experience is ideally something you bring, along with the ability to keep an overview even in complex projects.
  • You identify patterns reliably, draw the right conclusions, and prepare data in a clear and understandable way.
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented, you get things done — even when time is tight.
  • Technical topics you explain clearly and convincingly.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile.
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in an international retail environment.

DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF?

Then become part of our international company and apply, stating your salary expectations and possible starting date.

As an international employer, we stand for equal opportunities and diversity. We therefore welcome applications from mothers, fathers, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQIA+ community. Please let us know if, for example, we should use a gender-neutral pronoun, if you need barrier-free access to our offices or if we should allow more time for the application process.
We look forward to hearing from you!
