TASKS WITH IMPACT

 

  • Lead the development and implementation of new features to continuously enhance our social commerce capabilities
  • Act as the central interface between IT, operational business units and external technology partners
  • Ensure the seamless integration of social commerce solutions into existing systems and business processes
  • Identify emerging technologies, market trends and best practices to unlock innovation and growth opportunities for DOUGLAS
  • Develop and continuously refine the technical strategy for social commerce in line with overarching business objectives
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Product Development to gather requirements and prioritize features
  • Manage external technology partners and monitor compliance with agreed deliverables, service level agreements and project objectives
  • Partner with the Social Analytics teams to evaluate the performance of social commerce features and identify optimization opportunities
  • Derive targeted measures to improve the user experience, increase engagement and maximize return on investment
  • Oversee technical projects from requirements analysis and implementation through to successful launch and continuous improvement

 

 

YOUR SKILLS

 

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Digital Business, E-Commerce or a comparable field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in social commerce, e-commerce, digital product management or technology-driven business environments
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, system integrations and technical development processes
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills across technical teams, operational business units and external partners
  • Sound knowledge of current social commerce technologies, digital trends and relevant market developments
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance data, identify optimization opportunities and derive effective measures
  • Structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach combined with strong organizational skills
  • Experience in vendor management, service level agreements and the coordination of external technology providers
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills with German language skills considered an advantage
